I can't resist the irony. So I'm at the Central Library in downtown Indy studying on this fantabaglorious sunny day. I am currently sitting at a table by big wall-to-ceiling windows on the third floor. I am at a table with four chairs, but there are at least 10 tables in this area with NO PEOPLE AT THEM in addition to my table. A few minutes ago this guy comes up and pulls out a chair caddy-corner to me at MY TABLE and kind of waves. I proceeded to give him a suspicious acknowledgment. He's been pretending, I suspect, to read some book and occasionally glances up at me. This is all I have noticed from my peripheral vision, because I am terrified to make eye contact with him. He is probably Hispanic and may not understand the cultural taboo of sitting at a stranger's table in public when there are other perfectly good open tables available. Nevertheless, I am reading a chapter in my criminal law book entitled "Assault, Sexual Assault, and Related Offenses".

....Needless to say, I am FUCKING paranoid.

I really wish he would scoot!!! I have a lot more work to do and now I'm all freaked out!!!
