WOW. I made honor band. And not only that but I made first chair...really wasn't expecting that much. :) I'm so happy!! All that practice payed off. Thank you to all of you who wished me good luck and supported me...especially Lindsey for coming with me and staying by my side as I got nervous and Joe who made an awesome LJ sign for me!!! It's means a lot. Maybe you guys can come watch the performance. Let you know when it is.
Today went pretty well. Have octet tonight which is really fun. When all of us get too tired to play anymore we take a break and play fooseball...and if you've ever played me when Linds is on my team I get pretty vicious! Jacob's mom is really nice and sets drinks and snacks out for us. She's awesome. I have some hw i really should be doing right now but oh well. heehe I'm too happy from honor band stuff to ruin my mood with hw.
Calvin moderately scared me today...not a big scare mind you. Just a tiny one. But i'll get him back and he knows it...
I kinda miss going to dance. I really enjoyed going because I felt in shape and it was fun. Music is just my thing I guess. Many people think that skinny girls are in shape but really they're not. They're flabby and weak and frankly I don't like it. LOL I also might try this kickboxing class...might help with those stressful days.
Get my senior pics tomorrow! Can't wait to pass them out.
I called Michele and told her about the hb results and she wasn't surprised even though i was. She said I have a good sound and that made me feel pretty damn good because she was the same person who once told me i sounded like crap when i didn't practice in middle school. Then when I really worked for something she could honestly tell me I did a good job. I don't like it when people compliment you and you don't know if they really mean it..."You look nice...You did a good job." But thats normal for humans to do.
Well better get started on APES internet assignment...there are too many distractions on the internet. Teachers should know that.
