snow snow snow and wait...MORE SNOW!!!!!!!
OK! So its like -20 degrees outside and its snowing so hard that I can't see the road from my house. My attempt to go to work today was a solid one. I made it 7 miles to the next town and said "NO FREAKING WAY!" All in all it took me an hour to drive 7 miles there and 7 miles back. And that wasnt quit the halfway mark. I get back home and get a call from my supervisor "Oh mighty smartness", wondering if I could make it to the main office. "ummmm....no way" If i can't make it to a closer office do you honestly think that I would drive further in a different direction?? DUH is all I have to say about that one.
So my father in law just called to say that my brother in laws were having some issues this morning. Apparently one had overheating issues (how that happens when its blizard below out there is beyond me) and the other rolled his truck. All is ok and home now but holy cow!! All of these people live pretty much on my way to the main office. Glad I decided that I really wasn't going there. I am sure I will not hear the end of it come tomorrow but my life is a little more important than work.
So far this grand ole town has gotten about 8 inches or so just this morning and looks like its not even close to being done. I swear it is never going to stop snowing. And I so long for the day that I can leave my house and not need a scarf, hat, mittens, snow boots, ect.
The spring is just too far away right now!!
