Camera update time!
Great news came in a simple white envelope today. My repair estimate from Nikon for the fubar D70.
The estimate for repair of your equipment is $0.00.
I really don't know what the issue is, i thought for sure it was the shutter but the work order says:
UNRELATED REDO/SRV WARR Dust in Viewfinder
LCD READS ERR
Service Repair Rank B2, which stands for a moderate repair with major parts replaced.
This marks the second time I've gotten warranty service since the warranty has been up.
In other news the D200 is still backordered. It's been a month and a half. I'd really like to have it by March 1st for the UCONN game.
