The first July Writemotivation Update!

So - As you all know, I’ve been extremely sick. In fact, it was a bit of a battle to get the Roll Call done up for yesterday, but I did it!

My goals for June didn’t get met. What with being sick from the zombie flu…again, and general lethargy.

Without further ado - my goals for July are as follows

1. Make Progress on TDP 2 second draft
2. Crit CP work if available (H)
3. Outline/Plot F
4. Begin writing F
5. Develop a good blog consistency
6. Be more active in comments/social networking

I changed 1 to make progress instead of complete, because at the moment with my baby brain, I keep giving myself too much to do and stressing. So I will be happy if I get another 20-30% through this.

My crit partner Heather has an R&R that I am going to be critiquing in order to help her
Must do this.

I’ve already outlined F, but need to character develop and plot F too. I’ll do those these week (if my head stays clear). And I’ll hopefully begin writing F at the end of the week.

Now F is a little different for me. It’s an MG novel. So my wordcount won’t exceed (or shouldn’t exceed 50k). This is a new thing for me, so it’s a bit nerve wracking.

I really have to be more consistent with the blog and with keeping up with everyone else’s blogs. But I will do this. I’m determined to! So there.

Anyhu - that’s my set of July goals.

How do you feel about yours? Is July going to be a great month? We’re in the 2nd half of the year - how is your year going so far?
