If you’ve been around my blog for a while you’ll realize that I adore Asian Ball Jointed Dolls. As seen in this post. In fact, I have them modified to fit the characters in my books and draw inspiration from those.

The doll idea is pretty cool!

Yes! The doll idea gets a bit expensive though. I think magazine and catalogue clippings might be a better way to go!

Dade has been getting into ball-jointed dolls...he just bought a Pullip, and then we went to this doll store and some of the dolls were SO awesome. I really wanted this one that was like $600 with gray hair and a green cape. Of course, not for $600. Just, if I was rich, I might've bought her... If any of those dolls actually looked like my characters I might be really tempted!

Oo I like Pullips!

These ones are all fully customizable. So I make THEM look like my characters. Hehe.
