This is the first weekend in a long time that I didn't HAVE to go work, volunteer, or organize anything :) It was so fabulous.
Saturday, Yasmin and I went to Vino Libro, studied for our GMAT and had a bottle of a white Spanish Blend called Vida Nueva... it tasted just like a Vino Verde, but without the hint of sparkles, so I knew it had to have been made of the verdejo grape. Lo & Behold, a group of people pulled up on scooters (apart of a pub crawl) and the leader of the pack is the guy who actually made the wine I was drinking!!! He and I chatted for a while and we exchanged business cards so that he may possibly sponsor a wine tasting I'll have sometime in the near future in Yasmin's empty mansion in Buckhead (she's got it on the market, so it's a FABULOUS place to have a party).
Saturday evening, the Fiance and I looked through cookbooks and decided what to cook together for our Date Night. We decided on a shrimp and crabmeat spread on toasted baguettes and Chicken Stroganoff. We had so much fun cooking together :) Then we went and saw the kung-fu movie, The Curse of the Golden Flower. Visually beautiful with a great plot. My dad will LOVE it.
Sunday I lounged around, literally. Then I made some chicken soup and had it ready for later in the evening. After my Board meeting, I headed over to Eric's to watch the premier of 24, and the guessing has begun :) I say Cloe's man is going to be apart of the 2nd round of killings... Bill will be wounded somehow... Curtis will rejoin Jack and have a gunfight side-by-side, and the new hot chick will be the first mole since she just joined them a few months ago. Also, the Dick helping the president will be an asshole the whole time, but he's actually a good guy. It's too obvious for him to be the mole. But I say the President's sister's man is actually a bad guy. And that's it for now.
