I got into Ithaca!! I was so surprised, I didn't think I would get in because my audition was so bad! Yay!!
Well, my parents aren't letting me play beauty and the beast this week because I have a C in math and french. Oh well. 5 more days until New York with Elise.
Guess what?!? On April 8, 9, and 10, my dad has to go to AZ for some business thing. He was going to take all of us with him, but our recital is on the 9th and I'm playing for Joseph Ness on the 10th. I'm so upset! I want to go!!!!
NEMFA! Oh my goodness, I love that festival! It was so much fun, especially with my direct view of the really cute trumpet player across the orchestra! I had a chance to talk to him, but I blew it. Stupid Katie. I got kicked out of the inner circle and ended up sitting 3rd, but that's ok, 'cause I got to sit next to Kim and not Allgood... The concert was good, and the audience seemed to like it, especially the Duke Ellington. It was my last festival (::sniff:sniff::), but I think we went out with a bang.
