My highschool "twin" got married this weekend. We have about the same build and (back then) almost exactly the same length and color of hair, so when seen from the back, even our own fathers got us confused.  So I drove down to LA with a couple friends (one of whom divulged that she's PREGNANT!!) and braved a ridiculously hot and muggy weekend to take part in the festivities. And I'm still pretty tired from the weekend and don't feel like writing much, but here are pictures.

Walking down the aisle with Mom and Pop.

Praying together before the ceremony. I tried to take some of these without the flash so as not to disturb people or the real photographer, so they're kinda dark and/or fuzzy.

Hooray for writing your own vows! They were fantastic.

First Kiss (not only as a married couple, but EVER!) Talk about patience.

I LOVE Gerbera daisies. I wasn't surprised that my "twin" does too. :)

The reception was pretty informal/casual/fun. It felt like a block party. Here's the bride taking the first whack at the pinata.

And the groom's turn....

Bride, groom, and best man living it up in the bouncy house.

Father of the bride trying to disentagle himself from the bouncy house...

Good times. And then the weekend wrapped up with the longest thunderstorm I have ever witnessed in California, followed by a very hot, sticky, and fire-ridden drive home.
