too bad, you have to anyway.
Now mind you I am not the type to dress up for no occassion,
true, i will wear my "teachery" clothes, you know nicer stripy pants and sweaters, i don't even mind a skirt every once in a blue moon
but i am completely a jeans and t-shirt type of gal, and dresses are completely out of the norm for me.
yojoe and i were chitchatting on the phone this evening, and we have known each other for ten years (yes, fucking 10 years) and we could both count about 3 times that he has seen me in a dress, and in all honesty that was probably the only three times I have worn a dress in the past ten years.
so alas, i am honored to be in the position of bridesmaid, I am really really glad I get to share this experience with my best best bestest friend, however I am unlooking forward to wearing a dress. can I change for the reception? grab a pair of jeans and some flip flops and a t-shirt?
ok, I know I can't.
so I will have to make due
and at least I don't *mind* the dress, it's just....A DRESS and I will never be completely fond of dresses at all.
i like to sit cross-legged (as in the politically incorrect term of "indian style") and in a dress i just feel i may be a tad bit hindered and might have to sit a little more like a lady...
so that's my rant about dresses
and it's one day, 12 hours of wearing a dress, I can do that for her. i love her enough for that, I'm just not too enthused about the dress and the dress fitting process
:P
without further ado here is
My very first bridesmaid dress!!
