Here's a plea for help from any science/language art majors or just teaching majors/teacher-friends of mine in general: please tell me that certification exams aren't as scary as they look on paper! I'm freaking here, and I know it's completely impossible for me to attempt to relearn all of the millions of things that I managed to puke up for the science (and language arts) classes that I have taken over the last 4 years. I do not want to have to pay another $140 plus the $70 that I still have to pay to take my elementary exam. So, please, pass some sage words of wisdom or calming bits of information my way b/c I'm freaking out in a typical Katie fashion.
Anyway, as far as an update, that's all that I've really got going on. That and being in a...mess, I guess, with one of my best friends. I hate that, and the fact that I am apologizing for being legitimately mad only makes me more frustrated. Arg. So, I'm pissy about that too, along with the exams and the millions of cuts, bruises, and sore muscles that I acquired yesterday from removing carpet in my parents' room. That was a bitch and a half, especially since there was a clay-based pad underneath that had pretty much disenegrated in a fine yellow powder that made me physically ill despite my old chem lab goggles, dust mask, and gloves I was wearing. Boo.
Finally I want to say that if you haven't heard from me, call me. I'm an ass and am notoriously pathetic about keeping in touch, so just call me. Trust me, if you couldn't tell, I could use some distraction. (Thanks to Tony for calling yesterday and basically single-handedly saving my day.)
Ok, sorry for that. I've got to get back to studying for the rest of the night. Love to all.
