Mud Wrestling Practice
So today was probably the most fun I've had in a long time. Our team (coming off of a sad loss yesterday) had an amazing fun practice today! We were going over what we kept doing wrong in games, and why stuff just wasn't falling into place and I guess a lot of it comes down to the fact that we just weren't having any fun. You can play a sport for so long and then a slump hits and it's just AHHHH!
So our coach decided to have a fun practice to help bond us back together. We played the snake game... where one person is it, and then when they tag someone they have to hold hands and the chain of people gets longer with every tag!! We played cops and robbers with 2 teams trying to sneak over and get the soccer balls and there was a jail! And then we of course played soccer hand ball! Now all of these make us sound like we're 5 years old, but we had such a fun time so we don't care!!
The best part was when our coach went and grabbed the hose and started to just water down this muddy part of the grass. He split us into two teams, we numbered off to 10 and then he'd call a number and we would wrestle for the ball!! The muddy grass water was ankle deep and by the end of practice everyone was sliding in and out of the puddle!!
I love having fun with this team :) And I can't wait to play saturday!
