I can't believe break is over
So my 6 week break is over and I am now back at school. It was a pretty good break. I definitely did a whole lot of nothing. I spent a lot of time with my mom, and I helped her redo the bathroom on the first floor. The beginning was a little tough. I found out that my 13 year old neighbor had to battle cancer for the second time, and I had to take my grandma to her radiation treatment one afternoon. It was tough to see her not feeling so good. We went down to her house to set up for Christmas, and she was just so tired. It was sad. Christmas was great. I love seeing all of my family. This Christmas was the first Christmas that my cousin has been home for in 5 years. It was great. I got to hang out with my 5 year old cousin. He is so cute!!!! I wish I could see him more often. Later on, I went to see my Albion friends a couple of times and that is always fun. The last 2 weeks were the best time of the whole vacation. I got to help coach the Davison Varsity Pom-Pon squad and it was a blast!!! It made me realize how much I miss it, and if I was home, I would love to coach. The girls are great and they work so hard. I felt like I really helped make a difference with the team. I wish I could have spent more time with them. I know I worked them really hard, and I hope they know that it was worth it. You have to work hard if you want to become really good. I hope I instilled some hard work and motivation in them. I am sad to leave them. Now I am back at school, and I spent the last few days at a workshop to get ready for recruitment. I also had my transition for exec board yesterday. I am going to be so busy, but I am excited for it. I have another meeting today, but I am just going to spend the rest of the day relaxing. Oh was a break it was, and what a semester it will be :)
