Room 408 - Friday Morning after Music is Love
Naomi managed to make it back to her room after her class. She managed to pick up her quilt, wrap it around her and sit down at her computer even though she knew that she probably wouldn't be able to actually do any work on it.
The computer suddenly beeped indicating that someone was calling through and instantly she started flailing.
not now! she thought as she hastily moved to allow the caller to come through, considering her ghost like state right at the minute it took longer than usual.
"Hi...Icheb," Naomi faltered somewhat as he appeared on the screen.
Instantly Icheb knew that something was wrong, "Naomi?" he questioned, "what's wrong?"
Even though Naomi was used to talking to Icheb about Fandom's weirdness she was still hesitant to admit what had happened yesterday.
"I got attacked," she said after a few seconds of silence had passed between them.
Icheb was concerned, "attacked?" and that was when he observed that Naomi was rather transparent, "Naomi what happened?"
"I was walking in the park yesterday morning," she explained slowly, "out of nowhere these shadows appeared and they started to drain my energy ... its like they took my life force away from me, I've been feeling tired and drained since then, I've also been feeling very cold,"
"Have you been to the clinic?" he asked.
Naomi shook her head in the negative, "I don't think the clinic can do much," she said, "the radio broadcast last night said that people were attacked, so I don't think its just me,"
"I admit the situation is unique," Icheb told her, "I wish I knew what I could do to help,"
"Talking helps," Naomi replied, managing a smile, "it keeps me from going completely insane,"
Icheb nodded, "If you're feeling this way I'd better let you go rest," he said, "I'll call on Sunday for your birthday,"
Naomi blinked, with everything that had happened she had almost forgotten that on Sunday she would be turning 15, "that would be great," Naomi replied, "hopefully by Sunday I won't be transparent,"
Icheb nodded, "I hope whatever is happening is resolved soon," he said.
"Me too," Naomi nodded, "oh and could you please not tell me parents about this?"
"You have nothing to worry about Naomi," Icheb said, "you know I won't tell your parents anything about Fandom unless you either ask me to or you tell them yourself,"
"Thanks," she gave a small smile, "bye Icheb,"
"Bye Naomi,"
Once the transmission ended Naomi sighed and shut off the computer, realising that it would be useless to try working on it, she got up and moved back to her bed where she sat down on it and tried desperately to keep warm.
