Tomorrow I am going to call Crestview High School, b/c they have a job openning for social sciences. Crestview, also known as Crestucky or Southern Alabama or whatever hick name you can come up with, consists of a bunch of restaurants and hotels, and all my friends happen to live there now. I think that last part is the reason why the school is appealing to me now, b/c out of the 4 high schools in the county, it's number 4 on my list...I just can't imagine it being a good school, b/c of course I'm biased toward my own school. We'll see if I can even get my resume in...if I do, by some miracle, get the job I mainly see it as my way into a school I prefer, since it's so much easier to get a new job once you have one, which is ironic. The people who don't have a job are the last ones to be offered the job opennings...it's not fair. And then there's the whole fear of actually getting the job and being totally inept.
