To love or be loved? To love, really. I'm going to mirror what pipsqueaks said here: Being loved by someone you can never love back is just troublesome and annoying.
Relationship in a short time but intimate or long-lasting relationship but not too close? Ah... I've gone through both, and neither worked out. Although I'm in better terms with the person I had a long-distance relationship with? Maa, still going to have to go with intimate and long-lasting, or none at all.
Blunt or sugarcoater mate? Honestly is always the best way to deal with anything.
See your mate everyday or every so often? I'm all for seeing each other every day (since if you do end up tying the knot, you're going to have to deal with that anyway) but I draw the line at calling me every two hours to ask where I am, how I am, or some shite. I'll bite your head off if you do that.

What do you look for in a person? I want your money and body, not you! *clap clap* ♪ If you have a good amount of love for yourself and the people around you, then I think we're in for a good start.
Traits you don't want to see from your mate? The absence or a lack of a sense of humour. Chauvinistic pig-assery (includes homophobia, and demanding a foot massage--there is nothing wrong with asking nicely >_>). Excessive inclinations towards... mush. A terribly unhealthy lifestyle. And a lot more, aa.
Does your mate have to share common interests and same personalities as yours? At least one or two of them, of course. I don't necessarily believe in "opposites attract" but I'm all for having our differences ~complement~ each other. Did that make sense? XD;;
Funny or sarcastic? I could easily fall for a sarcastic little bitchface but it'd be lovely if that person is someone I can laugh with complete ease at/with as well.
Shy or confident? Confident enough to be okay with looking stupid or admitting that he's weak.
Talkative or quiet? More on the talkative side, please? But not entirely talkative. A good and patient listener is wonderful but I want someone who can also start up a conversation and get it going.
Cute and child-like or serious? We're talking about boys here. They're always going to be immature childlike! As for the cute part... that'll come only if he also has a deep, serious side to show I believe.
Affectionate or not? I normally don't enjoy being touched (jerking/elbowing/smacking/punching is almost always an immediate reaction) but if it's coming from a person I truly like, I'm all for lots of loving. Never too much in public though; that's just icky.

It's not really a question of compatibility but more of my preference--I love them both endlessly but I'm afraid I might feel smothered or grow bored too easily if I ever have either of them as a boyfriend.

Where would you like to go for a date? ゆうえんちデートで行きたい! ♥ Amusement park for a first date. :)) And then the beach or anywhere outdoors? (I spend enough time indoors, thank you very much.) Though, really, you can take me anywhere with a decent (preferably intelligent) conversation.
What things would you like to do on a date? Riding roller coasters and other crazy rides. Jet skiing! Maybe some trekking, spelunking and/or hiking, playing football (because I totes play that) or even a sport that I'm horrible at, and and and-- KARAOKE! 8DD and movie dates are, lol, generic but always delightful when you're with someone you get along with. I'm all for active fun but also absolutely enjoy just lying back and talking (maybe laughing) nonstop.
If it's your first date with your mate, how would you impress him? Not friggin' gonna try.
Would you ever buy matching couple accessories? Uhm, prolly not. If he buys us some, though, I wouldn't deny him of his joy. But I'll most likely stare at him at lengths for the mere suggestion of it.
What kind of gift would you like to give to your mate? WHAT MY LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH BITCH? t('^' t) crack handmade stuff because I'm poor and selfish Clothes. I love buying clothes for my special men (i.e. my brothers and my dad, lolol).
What kind of gift would you like to receive from your mate? Something especially for me, that shows how much he gets me. If he does, he'll know that I'm the type who loves being spoiled with expensive chocolate and shoes and clothes and ice cream and gadgets >8Db but is totally tsuntsun about it.
Lastly, what kind of love confession is likely to work on you? One that's abrupt and possibly a little awkward but surprisingly straightforward. It'll only work for someone I've already gotten to know for some time, though. :)
