One down...
Ok so first interview is over, and I feel pretty good about it. My only worry is the wedding. They asked me why I can't go until April, and they said their boss had hoped it was just someone else's wedding and I'd be able to just start and taking time off would be no problem (that bodes well then for Karen's). Hopefully it won't turn out to be an issue, because this really sounds like a great place to be and if I'm going to have a shot, this is the place I'm going to have it. They take in a lot of entry-level meteorologists, get them the experience, and it's more or less a starter place for a lot of people. Please God don't let the wedding be a barrier.... The one girl said she had never even forecasted before she started there so I really feel like I've got a chance at this one! They said there's still some more people that they have to interview and they'll get back to me in about 2 weeks. I sent a quick thank you e-mail for good measure.
