Oh, boy....
So our meeting for the vacation was last night. Well, turned out, we just had to watch their little pot & pan spiel. We went in saying we weren't going to buy anything, and if that meant we didn't get the trip then oh well. We were strong in our resolve, we were not spending ANY money.
We lost.
The trip was legit, we woulda had that regardless of if we had bought anything or not. But didn't we end up buying a four piece set anyways? It wasn't cheap, not by any stretch, but it's got a 50 year unconditional warrantee and the things this stuff can do is insane. He cooked us chicken and vegetables. Know how meat tends to shrink when you cook it? Not this time. And you wouldn't believe the fat he poured out of that pan when it was done cooking. The best part: it was not cooked in water or oil, just its own natural juices. Same with the veggies, no water added. Not cheap, but worth it. And we also got $1000 worth of gift certificates (CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!!!) and....
ANOTHER TRIP!
We're going to use the one to go to Miami, and the second we're going to the Bahamas for 3 days! I looked all over and in all the fine print, no catches. So it turned out to be worth our while to go!
