Nakamaru will be starring in the new late nigh TBS drama "Henshin interviewer no yūutsu (変身インタビュアーの憂鬱 "henshin intabyuā no yūutsu", lit: "The melancholy of the transformer interviewer").
The drama is written and directed by director Miki Satoshi ("Ore Ore" director (!!)).
Nakamaru will be acting 2 roles. One is Shirogawa Jiro, a genius trick writer, with long hair and unkept look. In order to obtain informations about incidents to use for his works, he "transforms" into the fresh and handsome interviewer Aonuma Kirio, eventually resolving the cases. (pictures) It's a mystery comedy drama and acting with him is Kimura Fumino. The rest of the cast includes more than 30 people (many of them appeared in "Ore Ore" too).
Point of the drama is the "aging special make up" which takes up to more than 1 hour.
Nakamaru's comment "I'm happy I will be able to celebrate my 30th birthday on a fun filming spot. I'm looking forward to expressions which are very director Miki's-like, that I wouldn't even imagine if alone, and have expectations about it".
