I am #1

Yay! I'm #1. Everyone (i.e., Bekah) keeps telling me to finally post something, so here I am, finally posting something. Woo hoo! I'm the type of person that'd rather just wait until EVERYTHING'S set up with the look of my journal to actually post, but I figured I'd write now anyway. It'll all get done eventually, plus I know you guys are ALL lookin forward to what comes outa my mouth. Yay!

This week has been really great...I firmly believe it's all due to the beautiful (yet unbelievably disgusting) nice weather. Imagine this: 300 girls, 5 floors, all in 1 dorm...and to top things off, NO AC. Yes, no air conditioning AT ALL. Isn't that fun??? Oh yeah! I don't even know why I bother going to the gym at all now anyway; I seriously sweat off 10,000 (yes, 10,000) pounds by just sitting here at the computer. All three windows are open...do you think that helps? Of course not! It magnifies the sounds coming from the crazy Catholic kids outside, and fills Spears' and my room with the lovely Steubenville pollution smell. Yummy! Always a good thing, believe me...except not really.

Ok, back to the whole I'm-having-a-good-week thingy. Good weather definitely = fun times. Once everyone's done with classes, or if they just don't go, tons of people are all around campus laying on blankets (modestly dressed, of course) or playing frisbee or games of that sort. Very enjoyable. Everyone's in such a good mood. After working out tonight, Stephanie and I received a phone call from a really great girl urging us to come down to part of campus as soon as possible to watch a bunch of guys with no shirts on "baptizing" people in the back of a pick-up truck....hahah, only at Steubenville would this happen...it was all a big joke, of course...you outsiders just wouldn't understand! Ha! So yeah, it was around 8ish and we ran outside to join a ton of other people on a big lawn area. We caught the end of a huge water fight happening between 3 of the guys' households on campus...always a fun time. Nothin like watching guys with their shirts off that REALLY need to keep them on. Really the only thing that made it so cool was that a new guy that introduced himself to Stephanie and I at dinner the other night, Oscar, actually came up to us and was all talking with us and shit...we're getting cool! He's one of the most genuine "cool" guys on campus, and we know him! Totally boosted our confidence and comforted us in how we feel around campus now. We're movin on up there! Yay!

Anyway, I'm getting to the point where my eyes are involuntarily rolling into the back of my head, so maybe I should go to bed now. More soon, maybe next time it'll make more sense too! I'm out bitches; I miss you guys so much you don't even know! Exactly 3 weeks from today I leave!!! Whoopie!!! Night! Love ya!!!
