Sweet Home Alabama!

I'm back in Birmingham!! YAY! it's been a while, but the end of my summer was fairly uneventful. I spent most of my time either working, with Brandi and Brad, or missing Peaches (actually, just about every second was spent missing him). NOW that I'm in b-ham, things are much better. Im with all my friends and lovely suite mates (hillary, jenna, deana, jessica, mary katherine, and jamie). I just got to meet mary katherine and jamie but they seem to be really nice. They're both beauty pageant girls with headley, but they seem really sweet. I have really done much since I've been here. I've done the triangle club stuff (help with moving in, freshman orientation, etc.) and I've spent time with friends. Last night, about 12 of us went to the John Mayer and Maroon 5 concert out at the oak mountain ampitheater. It was really good, well Maroon 5 at least. Im so in love with the lead singer :) He was soo awesome and seemed like a good guy--like one of the musicians that does it because they love it rather than for all the rockstar fame. I can't say the same for J-May (john mayer). He seemed like a real jerk. Apparantly, my ex supplied him with weed too..so not sure how that worked out, but he isn't as cool as he thinks he is. hah. I had an interesting night last night..lots of things to deal with, but I finally got to sleep and today was better. I was going to go to church, but Deana and I decided since she had to work and I hadn't gotten much sleep since I drove to and from Atlanta before the concert (to see Bryce of course), that we wouldnt go. SO that was nice. As for my trip to Atlanta yesterday, well, 2 days ago now I guess, it was fun. I woke up early, stalked alissa to figure out the cookout plans with trey, then left at 9. I got there, we talked and had a good time in his room, then went out for some lunch. Then I went and visited Devoe and Brett at Tech since they live a floor below Bryce. Sadly, i had to leave to be back for the incredible Maroon 5 show. Now back to today..as if I haven't jumped around enough, I pretty much cleaned the room and did the bulletin boards and stuff. Then i went to Walmart with Mal and bought some fish and some more duck stuff for the bathrooms. Then Trey came over and we attempted to hang something from the light in the common room when it decided to fall off-- it wasnt me that pulled it off or anything...so then we had to spend a while putting it back on and we took turns climbing on the common room table to fix it. We took some fun pictures and then trey fell and ended up stratling a chair! Ouch! we got a pic of that too though...and thats when the new suite mate walked in, so im sure she has a lovely impression of me, Trey, Hillary, and Deana (since they had joined the fun too). After that we all just talked and Trey sat in the room while me and Deana cleaned. Today was really rather uneventful but at least i got stuff done and had good talks with people...and I got the fish of course! They're so cute and spunky..and all their names start with P's haha. We have Pedro, punkin, and poopsie. Pedro is all black and eats and swims like a madman....Punkin is orange with a black tail kinda like halloween...and poopsie poops a lot. They're a lively bunch. Anyway, im gonna get to bed now and continue talkin to peaches. I've missed birmingham SO much!
