Who decided that exams should be in the summer? It was a bad decision. I got back to Oxford on Sunday and the whether has been lovely since. Mark and I had a bbq Sunday. Monday I visited Debby in Sheffield which was really nice. We wandered around, ate lunch out in the park and went for a walk with Paul in the peak district - it really could've been June, not April. So now I'm supposed to spend the next 8 weeks revising hard and learning the last years work, so I can sit 3 exams in 8 weeks time that will decide 60% of my degree. But theres bbq's and tennis and punting and so many other nice things that I'd rather (and prob will) be doing instead. Our degree results would DEF be better if we had to sit our exams in December. When its rainy and cold out then I wouldn't mind staying in to revise.
On another note, I checked my bank account and it had £46, and I just got my student loan (just over £1000) the other week. That sucks. Although the bank owes me about £500.... but thats still not enough money to travel around India for 4 months.
So yea, it was really cool seeing Debby again. Just having a chat and reminiscing about elementary/middle school is always good fun. I'm so glad we've managed to keep in touch, and we've met in some pretty random places over the last few years (Ohio, Germany, Sheffield....where next?)
I'm now undecided on whether to do a bit more revision, or go out for a run to wake me up a bit. I ran along the Thames tow path the other day and it was really nice....
