You cant stop the Beeeeeat!
This past weekend was the best time Ive had in such a long time I swear. Friday night I washed a bunch of my clothes, went tanning and then got some food at the grocery store. Saturday morning I got up at like 4:15 and got in the shower and packed all morning. It was still dark when Kim got here. We drove for a lil while and then stopped for breakfast. Then we got to Joe's apartment in New Jersey and got all prettied up. After that we took the thing to the ferry and then we got to the New York side where we got on this bus and it literally dropped us off right at where the show was. When we got there we went to this nice pizza place where I ended up waiting forever for a Hamburger that I pretty much shared with everyone else lol. Kim made me eat my whole half of the plate lol. Then we went and got our tickets for Hairspray! We met Aja's mom and her little sister, she played Lil Inez. Kims Dad works with Aja's Grandma, so they got connections :-P But Aja's mom was soo sweet and her little sister was a big ham lol. Shes gonna be the next big star lol. FINALLY ... the moment Ive been waiting for! I GOT TOO SEE THE MUSICAL HAIRSPRAY! It was sooo amazing, I felt like singing along to every number but I held back. The guy who played Link Larkin was soooo AWESOME (and not to mention very HOT!) In the final number, "You Cant Stop the Beat" he had on a white tux with a pink tie and he was dancing his a..s..s.. off ::sighs::. He danced soo good, sang sooo good, and acted so good, and not to mention again looked sooo good! My two favorite numbers were "Without Love" and "You Cant Stop the Beat." Harvey was so good as Edna and the audience clearly showed that he was thier favorite. I brought a Hairspray shirt, and a hat and a Hairspray program. After the show we were able to go backstage and we saw Aja and her dressing room. We got to take a picture with Richard Blake (Link Larkin) and got his autograph along with Aja's. We also got a picture with the big Ultra-Clutch Hairspray bottle that they have in the show at the end where Edna (Harvey) comes out of in a beautiful red dress. After the show we went to this nice place with Aja and her mom and got food. Then we all went to this really good Ice Cream place. After that Aja had to get back to the theatre for her call. We decided we wanted to go to Macy's, omg their prices were outrageous, $100 for a shirt ... hmph, Im gonna be rich one day. Then we decided we should head back and catch the ferry back to the NJ side, and we got LOST and I mean reallly lost. My feet were killing me, but I survived, when we finally got back around midnight, I went to sleep so fast. We got up and then had breakfast and I had chocolate chip pancakes and I ate every BIT of it!!! I was so proud of myself, but I couldnt hardly breathe after that. Kim was proud of me too :-P. Then we saw Joe's boat cause he's in the Coast Guards, that was really neat. Then we went home but I had so much fun and Im gonna get Kim and Me the "I Love Link" buttons and we're gonna be sooo kewl and Im using my graduation money to buy an computer and another ticket to see HAIRSPRAY! :-D
I got back in time for Joseph rehearsal which was realllly hot but nice. Mallory was there and was upset most of the time about Charlie. During rehearsal we all talked alot, but during one of the numbers me and Anna didnt know we almost got KILLED! But we just laughed about it like we do everything else lol.
This week in school has been okay, just like any other school days. I had dance on Monday and dance and Joseph on Tuesday. Wednesday I woke up and the left side of my face was hurting really bad, but I took some advil and went to school but Mom made me an appointment to see Dr. LaRosa after school and they already gave me like 2 bottles of medicine and steriods. Then we went to Best Buy and Target and I got the Hairspray CD to replace the one I cant find and a new outfit. Thursday morning I woke up and it was hurting worse, like when I talked and ate I got really lightheaded and it hurt too. So Dr. LaRosa and Dr. Dufrense wanted to go to the Emergency Room at Hopkins to see an ENT and everything. So we got there about 3pm and saw a bunch of the nurses and cute doctors :-P and then around like 8 an ENT doctor saw me and wanted me to get bloodwork done and a CT scan :-(. The two black ladies that drew my blood were funny ... and then it was like over an hour that we had to wait for the test results so I fell asleep watching Anywhere But Here and I had already watched Mary Poppins lol. But we finally left about a lil after 10. They still never really figured out what it was, but they think it was the same thing from like 2 years ago where I missed like 3 weeks of school and all. They either figured I have fluid in my middle ear or that I have a viral infection that affects the facial nerve or soemthing like that Im not sure. My face really isnt hurting much anymore, but all the medicine is making me feel really yucky :-/ o well. They also think we caught it early enough before I the nerve became inflammed and paralyzed the left side of my face like last time.
We had a Cappies show that we had to see last night and I was crying cause I was afriad that if I didnt go that Mallory and Ashley wouldnt go and they needed this last show for us to be able to recieve any awards at the Gala. But my Dad ended up taking off work and took them and picked them up. I love my Daddy. I talked to Kim and Mallory last night and Emily called to check on me. I love them so much. Mallory told my mom she called Charlie and told him all about what was going on and he told her to tell me that he hoped I felt better and all. I miss her and Charlie not being together :-(, but aprahently she got this cute guys number at the show last night and was talking to Jake's brothers friend Brandon on the phone alot lol. When she and my dad got home, she made me smile lol, she kissed me where it hurt and on my forehead lol, thats Mallory for you, but I love her. I have my dress rehearsal for my Dance Recital tonight and Mallory, Emily and Kim and I were gonna have a girls night tonight after that if I felt up to it. I need it, and Ill be up to it hopefully. But I really do love Emily, Kim and Mallory and all the other people who checked up on me. Well tomorrows the dance recital and Sunday is the Ben Carson thing and Les Miserables, so I have a long weekend ahead of me.
