[Yes, there he was, resting in bed rather comfortably... Or maybe not, the passive expression seemed faintly tainted by... irritation? Frustration? Well that didn't matter much right now]
[Regardless, that frustration is about to become slightly increased because as soon as he utters her name, she storms right next to the bed and gives his left ear a big, ol' TUG.]
You idiot!
[She lets go, huffing, puffing, and then soon-- she starts to cry?]

[He saw it coming a mile away.
He didn't even move.
With a faint grunt, he leaned a little into that yank, a flicker of pain crossing his face for a moment. Only when she let go would he even try to sit up straight again, ignoring the pain in his ear.]

[Kayo muttered back an "Of course you did!" between spouts of sputtering and tears. It was strange, really, that she could simply burst into fits over this foolish man-- creature of a man who thrived off danger.
It was several minutes later when she began to wipe at her face, in a very unladylike manner at that, she now drained of her heated emotion. The simmering of melancholy was a sign that his current health was now to be addressed.]

[He waited quietly and patiently for her to calm once more, folding his hands over his lap. No, he didn't try to hurry her along, nor did he lift a finger to comfort her.
But he did reply at least when she asked]
I am.
... Damage... does not last long. [With him, at least]

[Well, that was some relief at least. So long as the Medicine Seller continued being a strange being that she had no clue about, he'd heal from a variety of painful experiences.
Yet still the feeling of sadness lingered within her.]
Naja-san...? Oh. You idiot. You... you had me worried-
I, er...! I'm sure she's taking very good care of you.

She is.
[Mr. Blunt]
... are
you coming?

Of course I am. I have to do something for a friend in pain!

She slowly edges herself inside and just as timidly closes the entrance behind her.
Now where was- Ah. There he is. That irritating man.]
Mr. Medicine... Seller?

I do rather suppose I deserved that.

I'm glad. [And thus she was honest.
Now... what could she do to possibly be of help?]

But it didn't last for long]
You need not worry

But you've helped me out so much. I... I can't really help it now.
[Was that a sigh? Why yes, yes it was.]

Such things will continue
to occur. To worry would... only do you harm. Why do you? [... That sounded like honest confusion]

Well, she was on a roll by telling the truth, and her sullen state really seemed to stomp out most of her usual fiery, flustered logic.
Why the heck should she not tell him?]
Because I... you're... I consider you to be someone important-- to me. Like a really close friend or a-
[She paused, biting her tongue then and there. No way would she ever say that. No. Definitely not.]
