My cousin went to Paris recently and bought her mom a box of macarons from Laduree. The macarons are one of the best cookies on earth. 6 tasty bite sized cookies for just $20. Her mother gave 2 away, ate one, and her white teacup chiuhuahua (I can't spell that word nor do I like the breed enough to look it up on dictionary.com) ate the other 3. My cousin hung the phone up on her mom when her mom told her what happened. I told my aunt that I didn't blame my cousin because I would have done the same to my mom.

The San Jose Earthquakes played their first game against LA Galaxy a few days ago. My ex-roommate from college was an Earthquakes fan when they were known as The Clash. Then they fell apart along with 11 other MLS teams, but MLS is expanding now with the popularity of David Beckham in the US. Toronto was added last year, Quakes this year, Seattle for next year, and another city (Philadelphia?) for 2010. I secretly wish for the Quakes to bring in someone like Figo or Zidane, but that's wishful thinking. At any rate, I need to see if I can contact my ex-roomie again.

The crazy tea party lady made a cake for this guy's birthday in the office. She used pastel blue fondant to cover the cake and then added roses and lily fondant flowers for the top. I immediately wondered if he was gay. Then Gothboy saw the cake. He turned to me and asked, "Is he a poof?"
