One of these days, I'll write a 'real' entry again. But for now....
I just read in the news that Capello, the coach at Real Madrid isn't letting Beckham play out through the end of the contract. Not even on the bench to use as a substitute. Ouch, that has to hurt. He really hadn't been in Capello's plans for quite awhile now anyway.
But the news that saddens me a bit is that there are suspicions that Raul (Real Madrid's captain and Spain's international captain) might be leaving and possibly going to Liverpool. He's been at Real for his entire career, for about 12 years now. Boo. :(
Thanks to Netflix, I've been watching Family Guy and Footballers Wives recently. With Family Guy, I just started watching volume 4, which I am not enjoying as much as the earlier stuff. I've realised that you really have to be up on your pop culture in order to understand a lot of the jokes. I actually think that there's a lot of stuff on that show that many people don't really get, but laugh and like it anyway. Especially for a younger crowd. I had to explain a Mary Tyler Moore and Robert Mapplethorpe reference to someone at work. As for Footballers Wives, it's trash, but I'm hooked. Sort of a British Melrose Place I guess.
