Cars and World Cup
I saw the movie Cars on Friday. Carly had free tickets. It was kinda cute. I've liked the other Pixar movies more though. I think I caught a reference of Michael Schumacher in the movie, which amused me. The movie was well made, but I don't rank it at the top.
On one of the games I play, there is this 'contest' to try and predict who will win world cup. 10 random winners that guess correctly will win something in game. More than 80% of people voted for Brazil. To be different and since I saw that no one else took a guess at this team, I went with Czech Republic (I used another account and voted for Portugal). After I put my guess in, I saw 5 other people vote for Czech Republic. cheaters. What made me laugh though, were some of the other answers...China, Russia, Canada...all which aren't even playing. There were more votes for Canada than there were for Czech Republic. hehe.
Tomorrow is John and Carly's last day at work. :( That makes me sad.
Edit: Budweiser is the sponsor for World Cup this year. This is very very odd considering that compared to the rest of the world, the US isn't interested in soccer. And here is an American brand of beer that most of the world would not touch.
