Berkeley's Naked Guy is dead.
This was big local news in the area back in the early 90s because there wasn't a dress code rule or anything that prohibited nudity at the UC Berkeley. Not sure about city ordinance, but I don't think there was anything there either. So this guy went to school only wearing a backpack and a pair of shoes.
I got caught in the middle of one of these 'nude ins' that was held. I was cutting class in high school at the time and my friends and I decided to hang out in Berkeley around Telegraph Avenue. We were walking on the UC campus and next thing we knew, we were surrounded by a bunch of naked people dancing and stuff.
My parents were watching the evening news while cooking dinner that night and of course, this big naked gathering is on TV. I quickly changed the channel because I freaked out thinking that my parents would see me on TV.
