I don't know if you've heard this tidbit before.
How to boil a frog:
Do not throw him into a pot of boiling water, he will jump out.
Instead, put him in a pot of warm water, then turn on the fire. As the water gradually heats up, he will get used to it, until the point where it is cooking him alive.
That's a good way to describe my headache for the past week. It started off pretty weak, but it's been persistant and growing. This morning I've decided that it does hurt, it hurts enough that I would have noticed it sooner had it been an instantaneous pain.
I need to schedule some steroid shots with my doctor. (she shoots up my neck muscles so they'll relax. Also: there's some analgesic with that shot.) Maybe they can fit me in Friday morning.
