Welcome back! Missed you around LJ world :)

Both my sister and myself are very sorry for your friends... will be praying for your friend that will have the surgery and hope for a fast recovery!
This weekend one of our aunts also passed away... it's so weird how life is so fragile. Sometimes we get so caught up with "little" things and forget that we should enjoy more life because all can end in just a second... my sister was just saying that she read these really wise words, "life is a journey, and not a destination." Sending really tight *hugs* for you ♥

As for the both of us... we are doing OK. Had a busy Summer, which is always nice ;) and I (Patrícia) have started doing again something that I love, teaching Portuguese as a Foreign Language.

It's been nuts--I'm trying to book to flight for the funeral now. Sigh.

But now that things are calmer can spend a bit of time on LJ.

I was so sorry to hear about him passing away. I wish I could go to the funeral myself, but can't make it out of town just now. I will have to be content with going to Elise's and remembering him and Mike with her. Glad to hear other things are good, and I hope your other friend's surgery goes well. Take care and say hello to T for me.
