"I know you're being stupid on purpose, so I'm not going to let it upset me."

I won't have the AB page done for you until tomorrow, but I can at least give you this sketch of Kaguya Nanbu from Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier that I did a few days ago.

Nanbu is a very traditionally exaggerated and stylized anime character, so it's kind of odd to see a picture of her in the semi-realistic style I'm using nowadays. The result's actually not half-bad, though.

As for SRT: OGS: EF: XYZ: PDQ: LMNOP: Third Strike: Fight for the Future itself, perhaps I'm not exactly earning points for my Snooty Games-As-Art Club membership by saying this but whatever. I'm quite enjoying it! It doesn't hurt that I've been in the mood for some old-school turn-based-fighting-and-leveling-up Japanese RPG action for some time now, but there's been a long drought of worthwhile games in that genre. Endless Frontier also has a story and setting that are really kind of nifty and over-the-top in the way JRPGs used to be before their creators fell under the mass delusion that those games could be used to tell Serious Stories (tm). Plus, the translated dialog is lowbrow yet very funny, the characters are likable, and the combat system is a surprisingly good time as well. So if you're looking for a heck of a throwback and you don't mind levels of fanservice so absurd they go right over the line into hilarious, you could do a lot worse than this game.

As a side note: While Endless Frontier is part of Namco Bandai's head-scratchingly enormous Super Robot Wars franchise, I don't think you actually need to know anything about that to play the game -- I certainly didn't. The primary characters and the entire setting are original. Granted, KOS-MOS is in this thing, but if you recognize her? a) That means you played Xenosaga, for which you have my deepest condolences but b) it's still not important for following the story. Also Reiji and Xiaomu are in it, but if you recognize those two you've probably already bought the game anyway, you nerd. So again, no problem!
