Getting old sucks
Had an eye appointment this morning. I was having some issues reading the computer screen at work. Mind you, my vision has never been stellar---glasses by the sixth grade and been wearing corrective lenses of one kind or another ever since. My vision is literally too bad for laser surgery. Oy. Aren't I the lucky one?
Anyway, I also turn 40 this year. So, I'm thinking it's probably time for bifocals. Sigh.
I wasn't entirely wrong. I do need some minor adjustments for middle distance--ie. computer screen---but close up and far not a problem. I need to pick up a pair of 'reader' glasses, magnification around 1 to 1.5 or so, for working on the computer.
