4th of JULY NOLA
Ok, so I drove 13hrs to NOLA and back for forth of July. I spent the night at Garrett's in Dallas and we went to the church that night! Peter Hook was the DJ and it was amazing! I met some really awesome cross dressers;) Had a foot massage by one..haha!!! Left Garrett's early that morning, took my MINI to the dealer for an oil change and then had breakfast with a wonderful friend who I hadn't seen in a very long time.
This weekend was filled with those moments.
Ok, so after breakfast I began the adventure to NOLA!!
I arrived to Kenner where I stayed friday night and was greeted by Charles Bailey. We had a great time Saturday exploring the city. Saturday night I met a guitar player, a Marine and Charles Ballard. Wow busy weekend I know but the fun only begins here. Charles Ballard (Spoon) called me at a much needed time Saturday evening invited me to the pub they were having fun. I had walked like forever and ever and was exhausted the bartender was a bitch about serving me water ;) but then I tried Spoon's Absinthe and I am totally hooked now! Thanks Spoon! I know lots of incomplete sentences and will probably be hard to read. I am writing this for me not for really anyone else. I Have left out a few things that are totally unimportant and will remain memories only...I Love my friends! I love New Orleans!
