It's amazing how sometimes I can be surrounded by a whole group of friends and still feel so completely alone. Its like I'm there, but I'm invisible unless I make all the effort for other people to acknowledge me. Sometimes I distance myself just to see if anyone even notices I'm gone. But the more I do, the more I realize how little interest some people have in ever reconnecting with me.
