Puppy love
So I sit here - watching Prairie Home Companion with a gin and tonic and puppies sleeping soundly in my lap. I am in puppy love.
So my life right now: I feel grown up with a mortgage. But I have to warn everyone - home ownership comes with an amount of responsibility that is overwhelming and frustrating. I have to remind myself that someday I could live anywhere in the world I want to - just not right now. I get claustorphobic with the thought that I can't just up and move on a whim because we have a house with a mortgage. I think I will get past it someday - meanwhile I will just focus on stripping another room of wallpaper.
I also feel somewhat content with life - at least today. (again I attribute some of that to gin & tonic, puppies, my hubby and a warm pleasant sunny day).
