The Proposal
Friday.
I came.
She Saw.
I proposed.
She said yes.
Do you honestly need more than that? Fine. I will grant details. Of course everything said is the public version pre-approved. As I stated in my XP request for this year...
I've learned.
So:
I am engaged to one (1) Rut Navarro.
This occured Friday, September 2nd 2011, circa 7:45 a.m. at 1 Commercial Blvd. North Lauderdale 33309
How's that for detailed? That was for all my DeLorean owning fans.
I came down the night before and tried to do this whole setup for her, which of course fell to pot. It was supposed to be breakfast just before sunrise. That fell through. My dad picked her up under the pretense that I was coming in that morning and she'd be meeting me at the airport. My beloved realized that something was up as my dad drove in the opposite direction of the airport towards the beach. She loves the beach. I waited with a teddy bear that was holding a gift box small enough to hold jewelry. She came, saw me and we hugged.
It was the first time we'd seen each other in over a year.
She saw the bear and was grateful for it (I had to tell her to open the gift box). As Rut went through the gift box she found nothing but tissue paper. Where was the gift? Meanwhile I waited behind her with the actual ring box and ring, reflecting the light of the sun onto her. She finally turned in confusion and frustration and smiled we kissed and I realized... "wait I didn't *actually* as the big question". Hence I got back down on one knee and proposed.
She said yes.
