Oh, kill me now!
I'm so tired, and it's only the 4th day of the program. I have an unbelievable amount of work to do in the office, but I am stuck escorting the group around, and I can't remember my stupid password to access my computer remotely so I can work in the evenings. *grumble*
On the upside, my visiting Kazakhs are very nice. This weekend I took them on a tour of downtown Portland, explained the Trimet system, took them to Multnomah Falls via the Historic Columbia River Highway, and today we went to OMSI. Tomorrow the real work begins - that is, the professional appointments.
Incidentally, our visitors are going to be interviewed in groups of three on the radio as part of OPB's "Golden Hour." You can hear them on the next three Tuesday evenings at 8pm on 91.5, or you can listen to them online via streaming audio. Just saying. :)
