Fanfic-reading and LARP!
I got to LARP this weekend! WOHOO! I haven't LARPed since before Alexandra was born. Wow...
I had such a great time! And even though I almost felt like a beginner, but I soon feel into it again. :-) Apparently I was missed to, since my friends were very happy to see me again! :-D
We'll go every other time now. So last LARP, peting73 went, and this LARP I went... and then it is peting73s turn again and so on and so forth... This summer though, we'll try to go to the Post-apocalyptic LARP both of us and, maybe, bring Alexandra with us. That all depends really, since she'll only be 11 months then. Hey... Might as well start her early, right? *lol*
Apart from that, I haven't done that much since the Week From Hell. I've recovered as it were. You get really fatigued after such an ordeal. :-P
I've gotten back to read fanfic some! Which is both awesome and a bit depressing... I totally blame my THFiction.Com Project of Doom... Since when I check the site every day I do see interesting fics being posted... few as they are... and then I just HAVE to read them. *lol* Those fics that don't drown in the twincest that is... ;-) It'll be interesting come the end of this year when I post my results from my project of doom, that's for sure! In the meantime, any fic that pairs up Gustav Schäfer with Legolas even if only as a side-pairing you just have to read! X-D
Randomly, I've watched a lot of daytime TV, when I don't watch Fringe via Netflix (a surprisingly good series that... mostly thanx to John Noble) or I watch Downton Abbey that spicehobbit has thrown at me. It's good, well made and all that. VERY british... And Maggie Smith rules the universe, so there's that.
But the really scary thing is... I've watched Emmerdale... YES! I KNOW! It is such a sucky TV-show, but I stumbled across it and there was this gay couple and well... DAMMIT! *sigh* It all went to hell for them though (Aaron Livesy and Jackson Walsh, them poor boys...), so I am not sure I'll watch anymore of it, but still.... Geezes self? WTH??? o.O
I know I am hopelessly behind on my f-list, and I will continue to try and read up on it... No idea if I'll manage, but dammit.... I'll continue to try!
If just Alexandra could sleep all night, and not wake up at 3 or 4 am.... *sigh*
