First off, thank you for your answer to my last post. :-)
I think I compare to much to my own family. We are INSANELY close there! When I grew up I meet both my maternal and paternal grandparents about once a week... sometimes every other week. My cousins on my mothers side I meet around the same amount. We are just crazy close to each other in my huge extended family. To me, that is normal. That is how I grew up. All these loving older people around me, always ready to pinch in. Let's just say me and my brother never went to daycare. Not at all. If mom wasn't home, a relative was around. Always. And she didn't work full hours until I was around 11 or 12 years old, making my brother 7 or 8. We stayed home alone then, but always a phone call away from mom, dad or a relative. It was just the way it worked. How I grew up. I didn't hang around other kids much (apart from the neighbors) until I was 7 years old and started school.
Anyway. :-) Enough of that.
Been quite productive today! Wohoo! It's Advent 1st here in Sweden, which pretty much marks the start of Christmas here. So I got my Christmas lights out and dug out my Santa-army as well. So now there's lil Santas everywhere and lovely Christmas lights to. :-)
It has started to snow as well. Just a lil, but it stays. Surprisingly, since the first snow rarely does. But it got coooold! Fast! So now we are already down to -10 degrees Celsius... And I suspect it'll get colder soon... and experts predict A LOT of snow this winter as well! Good thing I got such a nice winter-overall from my mom to Alexandra. She'll need that one this winter, that's for sure... Plus the sliding bag made out of a sheepskin that I have in her pram. I think she'll be fine this winter. :-) I got my own heavy wool coat fixed up to, with a new lining material, so it keeps the warmth better to, and I got some nice heavy sweaters as well...
So... Bring it, King Winter! We are SOOO ready! :-D
