LoL, welcom to the world of motherhood! And TV. My cousie once said it was the hardest part with start working again, not to leave her Ronja at day-care, as she is a very independent child, but that she had to start tapeing everything that wasn't on the web, I mean, after a year in front of the TV, you sure are addicted LoL.

Oh Ronja! :-D What a lovely name! I was considering it for Alexandra before she was born, but it just didn't feel right. :-)

I fear I'll have the same problem though. :-P Things will probably be worse. Especially since we are planning to buy a new TV for us as a joint Christmas present. A TV where you can hook up your computer and watch all the stuff I have downloaded... Ehm... That'll be DANGEROUS!

It's funny how being a baby bed makes you slow down. Brynn loved sleeping on me, so I wound up spending a lot of time sitting and just chilling. And it was really GOOD for me. Miss those days. <3

Oh yes. :-) That is true. I just sit and relax... Of course, I can't stop my mind from working overtime thinking about things I SHOULD do... But then I just look at Alexandra and think fuck it... I can clean up shit later. :-) So I think it is good for me to. :-) *hugs*

My mother blames her 40-year addiction to a particular soap opera on me being a (premature, fussy, never-sleeping) baby and being in much the same predicament XD

Ha ha ha! I can see that this will probably be a longstanding problem, yes... *lol* And she is only one month so far! Good lord... I'll be home a loooong time with Alexandra, so the addiction will probably just be worse. X-D

eee!! you should continue watching game of thrones :D

i came across this article and thought you might find it interesting:
http://www.slate.com/blogs/xx_factor/2012/09/12/adrienne_pine_is_a_mom_the_american_university_professor_breast_fed_her_baby_in_class_so_what_.html

the quote "society makes mothers who give their babes formula makes them feel like they're dishing out rat poison" reminded me of you and the choice you made. again, you're not alone, and you're doing absolutely the right thing for your beautiful baby and family <3

Dude. I would continue to watch Game of Thrones... IF THEY WOULD AIR IT ON SWEDISH TELEVISION ALREADY, GAWD DAMMIT!!!! *swears* They've only aired season one so far. They will air season two as well. But, apparently, not yet. :-/ I've bought season one on DVD, but season two is not available yet. :-/

That article was very interesting. And I've heard that quote before. Both in swedish and in english. The book about bottlefeeding that I borrowed at the library had some seriously interesting stories told by mothers who'd taken the decision to bottlefeed their babies... and the reactions they got from nurses and society as a whole on their decision... Scary reading, let me tell you. :-P I am glad the nurses I've run into hasn't been QUITE as insane....
