Oh, and if you wonder why I only use my default icon when responding to your posts... That might be because if you only have the option to scroll for an icon when commenting? That don't work anymore. You need to have the option and button to Browse to pick between icons. Just saying. Discovered it today, so don't know how reason that is or anything. :-P
Either that or my computer is wonky. I don't know. It was wonky yesterday, so today I redid my backup on my little portable HD (gawd, I love that thing) and cleaned out the computer with CCleaner, my antivirus avast!, doing a defrag AND checking for some Windows Updates... Yep, it is a big clean up of this old girl. I've had my computer for five years come July... It has been a good one. I hope it'll last a little longer though. :-)
Still on a bit of
Les Miserables high, as it were. Amused myself when it was slow at work today to read what was written about the story and my favorite characters on Wikipedia. Fun, fun! Now, I know Wikipedia is no paragon of truth, but apparently Victor Hugo agrees with me to. The story is SUPPOSED to be a whole gray mess. :-) No one is good. And no one is bad. Everyone are human. :-) Awesome. I just need to find the source for this quote so I can be sure it is true. Anyway, true or not, here is, supposedly, Victor Hugo's description of Javert:
Probity, sincerity, candor, conviction, the sense of duty, are things which may become hideous when wrongly directed; but which, even when hideous, remain grand: their majesty, the majesty peculiar to the human conscience, clings to them in the midst of horror; they are virtues which have one vice, - error. The honest, pitiless joy of a fanatic in the full flood of his atrocity preserves a certain lugubriously venerable radiance. Without himself suspecting the fact, Javert in his formidable happiness was to be pitied, as is every ignorant man who triumphs. Nothing could be so poignant and so terrible as this face, wherein was displayed all that may be designated as the evil of the good.
Coming home I even found fanart of Fred Johanson as Javert! X-D Now, THAT I didn't expect! He isn't that famous after all, so... Yeah. Cool! Long live Tumblr. You really find anything there when it comes to art and silliness!
I give you, Javert times three!
Actors left to right: Sören Lillkung, Fred Johanson in the middle and Hadley Fraser. Found the art right
HERE.
Even found a pretty good recording of Fred Johanson singing the song Stjärnor (Stars) from Les Miserables at the Malmö Operahouse. I found two of them, none excellent, but I think this was the best one:

Now there's a deep voice for ya'... I admit to have a weakness for a voice like that. :-P
And here is some official photos to from the show I saw this weekend! :-D
Jean Valjean before meeting the Bishop and deciding to try leading a good life, a criminal on parole, nothing else:

These are all from the official booklet/programme that I bought at the Operahouse. I didn't scan them, but found them on the net. Hard to find photos from this production, but I like these. Pretty cool, aren't they? :-)
Right. :-) Time for bed as it were. Night ya'll! :-D
