So, Thursday mom and my aunt was here. :-) It was A LOT of fun! They are both old fans of the band
Smokie, so when they heard that they were giving a free concert here in the city, plans were quickly made for both of them to get here and watch Smokie play. :-)
First they went shopping a bit in the city. Mom has lost so much weight now, she had to buy some new clothes so she'd have something that doesn't fall off of her. X-D Amazing. She looks fantastic! Of course, she still loses weight rapidly, but the woman needs clothes that doesn't fall off, right? ;-) And they had fun shopping together them sisters, so I'd say it was all good. Then they came here and
peting73 had cooked a delicious dinner: chicken breast wrapped in bacon strips, fried and then boiled in a gravy made of cream and cream cheese seasoned with garlic and various herbs... then served with vegetables, both cooked and fresh. HOLY SHIT, it was delicious!
After that we took the bus downtown. Which was hilarious in itself. Neither my mom or aunt go by bus often. My mom very rarely and my aunt not at all. So they were very nervous about it. *lol* But it turned out fine, and we went downtown, took a drink with
peting73s mom and then we went to see to get good standing places to see the concert.
Now, Smokie ain't my kind of music, but I must admit. Them old men knew how to entertain their audience. :-) They rocked! Old classic rock. It was really cool. But the best thing was to watch mom and my aunt singing along and acting like fangirls, just like I did when I watched Tokio Hotel live. *lol* It was awesome! (And if someone could tell me what the hell it is with me and drummers, because seriously... Smokies drummer might be old, but hell... He was awesome, and I would do him in a heart-beat! Even if I'd have to fight my aunt to get to him...)
Yesterday though, we didn't do much at all. Just vegged around the apartment playing World of Warcraft and being nerdy as hell. Well, I did go out and visited some libraries, but alas none of the regulars were there so I couldn't talk anyone into giving me any work. :-P Better luck next week!
Today has been spent much the same. Being nerdy together. :-) We are good at that
peting73 and I.
I am having surprisingly fun on the new World of Warcraft server I play on, Moonglade EU. I am playing a bloodelf I named Thylarian, a paladin. He is fighting his addiction to magic, going out to travel to learn new things... discovers he is good at healing people and in doing so he uses his magic which helps him fight his addiction... He meets the tall voodoo using trolls... and crushes on them male trolls something fierce! And is now working for the Horde as a pocket healer (preferring to heal trolls...). X-D So if anyone plays on Moonglade EU, say HI to the bloodelf Thylarian!
And now for something totally different... Some memes!
s national book week. The rules are: grab the book closest to you. Go to page 56. Copy the 5th sentence. Don't mention the book.

Hufflepuff
52% Ravenclaw, 65% Hufflepuff, 37% Slytherin and 50% Gryffindor!
You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
And unafraid of toil;
The cardinal traits of Hufflepuff are loyalty, patience, kindness and hardworking. They are generally extraverted but not as socially ambitious as Gryffindors-they enjoy being around other people but do not require being in the limelight. Hufflepuffs place cooperation above conflict; they are also more emotionally balanced than some of the other houses. Unlike gryffindors, they do not have hot-tempers and are not as likely to become offended by criticism. Hufflepuffs are loyal to their beliefs and to their friends; once they've established roots, they stick with them. It takes a lot to convince them to change their worldviews. Although Gryffindors also exhibit loyalty, if their pride is hurt or their principles violated, Gryffindors will leave (whereas a Hufflepuff has stronger ties).
Hufflepuffs are much more steady and easygoing than the other Houses. They work hard, are very down to earth and not prone to flights of fancy. In contrast, the other houses are much more likely to be erratic in their behavior, especially Slytherins and Gryffindors due to emotional instability. Although Ravenclaws may also be hardworking and patient at times, they are more likely to be swept away by a new idea and abandon projects than a Hufflepuff would. There is another side to the Hufflepuff house, however:
Said Hufflepuff, "I'll teach the lot
And treat them just the same."
Good Hufflepuff, she took the rest a
And taught them all she knew,
Although some Hufflepuffs may clearly exhibit the traits of the house, others may simply not fall into any other category. Generally speaking, though, if someone doesn't exhibit any of the major personality traits of the other three houses, they most likely would fit the description of a Hufflepuff.
