So... X-MEN Origins: Wolverine...

Was this a good movie? Oh, hell yes... Did it follow the graphic novel by the same name? Sorta... But they still made the story work just nicely, so it fits with the other movies, so that is fine with me. You don't have to follow your source material 100%, if it still works with the rest, you know? And it worked oh, so nicely... And Hugh Jackman ( Read more... )

Hmmm... He does. :-) He is in the graphic novel to, although it is not pointed out that clearly. If you have a piece of mind, you can see it though. You can borrow it if you wish. :-) The artwork is brilliant and the story is to.

They slaughtered the Deadpool-character horribly. I enjoyed the movie up until the last half hour, but then... Still worth the money though.

Since I didn't know anything about Deadpool before seeing the movie, I thought it was pretty fitting, actually. To me, he worked. peting73 though, wasn't that pleased, since he likes Deadpool. He agreed with me that within the movie-verse, it works, but it still ain't a "real" Deadpool. I thought he was kinda cool still, though. :-P

He was cool up until the moment he started shooting lasers and had his mouth welded shut. Deadpool is the Merc With The Mouth, for crissakes - something they got right in the first part of the movie. His only real superpower is his healing factor though, and his swords are definitely not part of his body.

I think I have to side with Peting on this one. :-)

See, I didn't know that. :-P I guess it all depends on where you come from when watching the movie. :-) I prefer the movie-canon me. Why? Because at the least there is only one canon to keep track off. The comics... So many canons, it is hopelessly complicated.

After everything Marvel have done to their "canon" so far, one movie more or less that changes all the facts won't matter. ^_^I'm looking forwards to seeing it, one day. Mum will buy it, so I can watch it at home later.

Well, that is the problem with Marvel, ain't it? There are to many canons to keep track off. :-P Thats why I prefer the movies. At least there is only one canon to keep track off there. :-)

I have given up long ago. It's all very neat, but hopelessly complicated.
