I've read some reactions from the Other Side re: that new rumor floating about.
It's mostly level headed, and if I replace "Rose" with "Ace" I can relate: it would be aweomse if it happened, but I doubt it will. What's bugging me is this notion that crops up about Rose's story being unresolved.
Which, yeah, if by "unresolved" you mean "discontinued." It's as unresolved as Mel's (and wouldn't the Glitz and Mel Show be fantastic?). If you want unresolved you've got Ace who, much like Eight, has three different continuities. Good luck with that.
Rose traveled with the Doctor. She loved the Doctor. The Doctor loved her because he loves them all. She was ripped away from the Doctor in a cruel manner not seen since Jamie and Zoe. She mourned the Doctor, she joined Torchwood, and in my canon she has a pick-axe on her office wall. She is done. None of this reduces her in any way.
Now if you REALLY want unresolved there's the EDAs. "And he leaps..."? What the shit is that? It's like the Sopranos, all it needs is some Journey. Mmm, Journey...
