Stats - For reference? Candi looks more than a bit like a vaguely Arabic Bjork.
Hair: Black, althoughif one looks very carefully in a certain light it will com across as very dark brown. Straight and silky, often cut in a bob but can escape to shoulder-length. Sometimes with bangs, someitmes without, will randomly put streaks of startling colors (like emerald green) in for no apparent reason.
Eyes: Emerald green like her father's. Kinda cat-like in a way and intensely exprssive.
Complextion: Cafe au lait. Or so. Again with the vaguely Arabic.
Identifying Marks: The Unstoppable Force of Cute. And a birthmark on her inner right thigh.
Physical Description:
Short! She's like 5'3" if she's lucky. Petite also, not overly curvy even after the kids. She dresses with her very own unique sense of style, usually long shirts, slouchy trousers, slip-on shoes. Sometimes clogs. Uness shes in princess mode, in which case the gowns come out and she becomes a total goddess. She likes flowers in her hair and tiarras.
Background:
Candicen was born as the lust love child of a seductive and somewhat naughty princess/magess, her mother was (allegedy) put to death by her father for being really annoying. Why he kept Candicen around for twelve years is debatable. Candi grew up as a completely spoiled brat who developed magical powers early and was a bit of a holy terror to her stepmother. Things escalated to the point where she was banished off to the ass-end of nowhere with a creepy old man as a guardian.
The following 150 years or so are STAGGERINGLY unplotted.
Then she started getting ideas about getting revenge and taking over the world Baylet attention, and several of the mages over in Sushalla took exception. They decided to gt rid of two problems at once and sent a young fourth degree mage who had been a thorn in their collective sides for years. His mage name is Hedeon Thornside, but he goes by Krys.
Krys and Candi spent a few months being catty, then went on to boggling at one another, then discovered (independently) that they were each other's One Twoo Wuv, soulmates bonded by blissful joy and blind adoration. They run off to Sidnary and try this "taking over the attention" thing, and Krys is quite startled to find out his BFF is now the Lord of Baylet. SOme insane wacxkiness ensues, they end up saving the world, and the witcha nd the redhead shag. Like a lot.
This is followed by a mini world tour in which they end up in Savenor's latin quarter for a length of time, and then there was Cosmo and then Candi was killed by a demonically possessed redhead. She misses the next ten years or so. As she's dead. This fact can be disputed, but anyone who does so is wrong.
She. Was. Dead.
And then randomly she wasn't. Things were pretty complicated for a bit, then they weren't. This was all followed by wedded bliss, twins, and a farm with ponies and kittens. Candicen went on to die (again) of very old age.
Personality:
Luke says Candicen ahs the mentality of a six-year-old. This is pattently untrue, despite all evidence to the contrary. Candicen is a remarkably strong person, physically, emotionally, and mentally. She's also a remarkably spoiled, selfish, and tactless person. She's introverted, cranky, loud, and uses a dolphin-like language of squeaks, clicks, sighs, and incoherant "mmmnnnrrmmffrrp!"s to get her point across.
Her century-and-a-half of virtual isolation probably has a lot to do with this. Her brain DOES work differently from other people's. She's very much in the here-and-now. So long as she has her Krys, she thinks she'll be okay. Similarly, the opposite is true in her mind. She sees herself and krys as a sort of indepentdent republic which no one can EVER really understand. This is both true and insiteful. Nevertheless, there is a staggering amount of regret within her. She fell in love with the first independent man who came along in her life. Is she missing something? Is there something better out there? Why do they act in such uncanny syncronicity with each other?
These questions are thoroughly buried most of the time. Probably for the best, really.
Skillz:
Candicen's magical powers are mostly devoted to healing. She can eliminate pain, ease suffering, and promote feelings of tranquility. She herself has an amazingly high pain threshhold, and sees things like "natural childbirth" as a fun-filled challenge. Randomly, Candi also has lethal skills which she has never tapped. It's a thing. It's like being predisent, being ABEL to nuke Luxembourge into the 12th century, and not doing so.
