Because I'm still bitter/giddy over "School Reunion" and "The Gallifrey Chronicles." Minor spoilers for both. (I'm also bitter that LJ crapped out before I posted this alst night AND that I've had to rewrite most of it.) This is for my own amusement, so... right.

Table for two in a crowded Kennsington restaurant. A couple were chatting amicably. She was young with blonde hair and casual attire, he tall and gangly with messy dark hair and outdated clothing. She was giggling, he looking a bit put-upon before finally joining her mirth.
Over at the bar a put-upon young blonde woman was watching the couple with a mixture of contempt and angst.
"...and lastly, there's Fitz and Trix," the tall, gangly, messy-haired man beside her was saying. He was grinning fondly over at his former companions. "And then you. Oh, and then Jack. And Mickey."
Rose pouted and took another gulp of her shandy.
The Doctor gave her a puzzled look. "Well, you did ask."
