We had our first snow of the season today!
Snow is kind of the bane of my existence, but I have to admit that the child inside is always sort of thrilled with it the first time it shows up for the winter. It's almost like I forget how it happens during the spring and summer months. It's very quiet and peaceful. Like, even in a blizzard, you don't hear it falling, the way you do when it's pouring rain. Something about that is kinda magical to me. *shrug*
It didn't really stick too much, anyway. There's probably less than an inch stuck to the grass, the rooftops, and the cars. The pavement must still be too warm. So I got to enjoy the "whee! it's snowing!" vibe, and still be able to walk around outside. :)
I guess it's time to buy a snow brush/ice scraper thing. Joy.
I've been feeling kind of weird lately. I'm not able to pay attention to things very well for too long (reading anything more than a short story is a bit of a problem), and I'm feeling irritable for no good reason. I do think I might be catching whatever disease my mom has, maybe that's it. Being sick is teh sux0rz. Haha, the Firefox spell-checker is underlining "teh" but not "sux0rz".
Um, I don't really have anything else to talk about. So bye.
P.S. I love Phil Collins.
