she's touring the facility and picking up slack

Friday I went and saw The Kingdom at midnight with my cousin. That's the latest I've ever been in a movie theater. It wasn't all that exciting but at least now I can say I've done it, right? Haha. The movie wasn't bad.

Saturday night I went cosmic bowling with friendMatt, Lara, Lara's brother Phil, and his "friend" or whatever, Scott. (I think his name was Scott.) The last time I went we played, like, five games in rapid succession, and my arms felt like death for three or four days afterwards. This time we only played three; I got to relax for a bit longer between turns, and I had a couple bottles of beer. It was much more enjoyable and now my arms don't even hurt! Yay. That was pretty fun, and I liked looking at the cute high school-age dude in the lane next to us with the long headbanger hair.

Other than that I've been on a sleep schedule similar to that of a crackhead, but I'm going to go to bed soon because I have to wake up early-ish tomorrow, shower and pack, cash a check (or cheque, if we were in Canada), get a coffee or something, and try to maneuver my way down 81S and find Crouse Hospital. I've got a clandestine appointment with my orthopedic surgeon so he can fill out some paperwork for me (I'm applying for vocational rehab services). I haven't seen him in years so it will be a good time. He is an awesome doctor.

THEN, after that, to find my way back to 81N (I think) and get on the Thruway and drive to Latham! I'm going to be staying at Grandpa and Gen's house for a few days. They kept writing me letters saying they wanted to have me visit them for a little bit, and I am lousy at keeping in touch via snail mail. :P So we finally arranged something. I'll probably visit some other family members while I'm down there, too. Maybe I'll try to take some pictures. I still have to post pictures of my car in here, don't I? Bad llama...

I'm determined to do this without the help of MapQuest, because I am SMRT and can figure it out on my own. ;)

When I get back, I should have a 10ga taper and septum retainer from BodyArtForms. I got all excited about stretching it up recently so I placed an order for that stuff last night. Yay!

(BME is still defunct, in case you were wondering. It's kind of ridiculous.)

So, enjoy yourselves and don't whiz on the electric fence while I'm gone!
