ugh

Remember how I mentioned using MyMonthlyCycles.com to track my periods? Yeah. Well, I just went on there to update my records, or whatever the hell you want to call it. (My prediction for my next period's start date was WRONG, by the way! Silly reproductive system.) And man, they have the most ridiculous poll questions on there sometimes. Here's what popped up today:

"If you could INSTANTLY lose 10 pounds, would you give up air conditioning for the entire summer?"

The very idea of this question bothers me. I can't really put my finger on why. It just seems so corny and inconsequential.

The entire site, actually, could do with some reworking, in my radical feminist opinion. ;) As it is right now, it's all pink and frilly and stereotypically "feminine". If I had the web-savvy to do it, I'd start my own period tracking site with blood splattered all over the place with zombies lapping it up, a few skull-and-crossbones, cuss words, and polls about whether or not you've ever smeared your clots all over yourself just for fun.

...

Ahem. Okay. I may have just taken this entry a little too far. *runs away*
