New Year!
Welcome 2013! Hope you will be a less expensive year than 2012. Just had a few too many unexpected expenses in 2012: replacing both shutoffs for my hose connections to the outside (also replaced the spigots with frost free ones) Shadow needing dental surgery, replacing my fridge, and having to replace my furnace. At least the fridge and furnace should save me money over the long run. :) Glad that Shadow is pain free-- though I wish he'd gain some weight. Did refinance the house, hopefully saving myself some money. :)
As for 2013, I plan on getting back on track with eating healthy and working out. Just a few cookies left and the candy from my stocking is almost gone (wasn't too much of it anyway), once the sweets are gone from the house, no more, at least for a while, since sweets are my weakness. Moved my money to a credit union, and supposedly they did a money giveback again. Not sure how much it'll be, but every little bit helps. :) Got my hair done today, and keeping with a theme or idea of new year, new me, I colored my hair. I went darker last winter so I decided to do it again. After looking at the swatches, I decided to go with the double violet, and it came out nice. It's different, but kinda kewl. Might as well use the new year as a reason to try new things.
